Oatology

With backgrounds in environmental management, health and hospitality and a mutual love for coffee we thought there must be a better way. A way to enjoy a flat white without the guilty conscience or sacrificing the taste we love.

What does this mean for the much-loved cow’s milk in our delicious flat whites? Well it means it’s got to go. But rather than struggle sip-by-sip through that sub-par alternative milk you don’t really like or deal with the guilty conscience brought about through that (pretty sound) scientific literature, the team at Oatology have created a deliciously nutritious oat (anything but) milk. Yes, a tasty milk alternative. Crazy I know, but we welcome you to the otherside. You’ve made it! Well, we made it, but we made it for you so i guess it’s ours now. Anyway, sit down and enjoy Oatology’s Oat (anything but) milk as we intended, with both a grin and a clear conscience.

All Happy Oats

Our oats are sourced from the south Island of New Zealand where they're exposed to the optimal rainfall and temperatures for them to grow. No GMO Oats here.

Dairy Free

You wont find any dairy in our oat milks and to make it even more appealing, none of our products are derived from nuts or soy either making it perfect for those with intolerances.

Barista Friendly

Our product steams perfectly allowing you to demonstrate those latte art skills or simply appreciate your baristas.

NZ Made

Batch brewed by ourselves right here in NZ after years perfecting our recipe - no contracts or outsourcing here. We use as many locally sourced products as possible to ensure each purchase is supporting local businesses and industries as well as cutting down those food miles!

Reuse and Recycle

Our Oatology Oat (anything but) milk comes to you in glass bottles, just like the good old days! Unlike those tetra-paks and silver sacks, every part of the bottle can be recycled… and not just once either, glass can be recycled over and over again! And how good is the fact that even glass that’s too contaminated for recycling as a food container can be recycled for all sorts of other purposes like tiling, pavements and sand blasting – not like those contaminated plastics which just end up in landfill (if we’re lucky). At Oatology we aim to re-use our bottles as many times as possible before we’re forced to part ways with them to the recycling factory. To fulfill this vision we’re going to need your help and urge you to reduce and re-use before we recycle. #refilltofulfill
